1. Data We Collect
Strangeer collects only the data needed to operate its moderation and security features. Specifically:
- User IDs — the unique Discord identifier of users who interact with the bot or who are acted on by a moderation/security feature.
- Server (Guild) IDs — to store per-server configuration and apply settings to the correct community.
- Role & channel IDs — referenced inside server configuration (e.g. whitelists, log channels, auto-role targets).
- Server configurations — your enabled features, punishment settings, action limits, whitelists, and automod/automatic preferences.
- Limited message metadata — when an automod or anti-raid feature is enabled, the bot evaluates message content in real time to detect violations. Message content is processed transiently and is not permanently stored unless a feature explicitly logs it (e.g. an audit/log channel you configure).
We do not collect data unrelated to the bot's functionality, and we never collect payment information, passwords, or private personal details.
